and understand modern French.

The interactive lessons are available in the Members Area of the Rocket French site. The lessons
are available in two formats: you can EITHER play the lessons online (approximately. 25 minutes apiece) OR download higher quality audio MP3

they go through the day.
Tips for using the Interactive Audio Course
You will find these tips useful until you have experienced the audio course and have devloped your own learning
method:
-
The lessons are very interactive and you should expect to find yourself repeating the French out loud. So it is best (certainly the
first time you go through a lesson) to do it in private.
-
Once you have been through the lesson once you will want to repeat it to ensure that the phrases stick.
-
If you are a visual learner, or just like to see things in print then you can look at the transcription of the lesson. This is
available from the download section of the members area.
-
Kinesthetic learners may find it particularly valuable to move around and 'act out' the lesson as far as possible. This will also
help the other types of learners. The visual learners can see it on their mind' s eye. The auditory learners can imagine
themselves saying the words. Click the link for more information using learning styles whilst Learning
French.
-
You should try to use your new knowledge as soon as possible after learning. You could watch a French film. This is a good idea as
you will hear normal French spoken by French speakers. You may not understand at first, but as you progress through the course you
will find that more and more of the dialogue makes sense and you will use the sub-titles less and less.
